The Bayer Corporation has announced that President & CEO of Bayers Corp. (USA) and Bayer MaterialScience LLC, Gregory S. Babe (WV A ’80), will deliver the keynote address at the West Virginia University’s Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources’ 2012 Commencement on May 12.
Babe is also scheduled to receive an honorary Doctorate of Science from WVU. He is an alumnus of WVU, graduating in 1980 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He has spent 36 years at Bayer and has plans to retire later this year. Currently, he serves on the WVU Foundation Board of Directors. Read the press release

Congratulations to Christopher P. Santoro, NJ A 2005, on his recent marriage to Jacquelene C. McCarthy in New York. Santoro is currently a systems engineer with Honeybee Robotics Spacecraft Mechanisms Corporation in Manhattan. His wife is also an engineer at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
