Today at the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) 119th Annual Conference & Exposition, Tau Beta Pi will be hosting a reception at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in Texas Ballroom F from 6-8:30pm.
The reception is an “opportunity for deans, faculty, and others to meet and discuss informally Tau Beta Pi and its role of encouraging excellence and developing total quality leadership in engineering education.” Click here, for more information

Mechdyne Research and Development announced this week that two of their engineers will be serve as volunteer educators at InfoComm 2012 in Las Vegas, NV, June 9-15. Read the press release
Michael T. Pedersen, IA A ’94, will present a session entitled “Performing and Documenting Component Evaluation” as part of “InfoComm University.” Pedersen is a senior staff engineer at Mechdyne. His presentation is scheduled to take place on June 13th from 12:30-2pm. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.

The Tau Beta Pi Executive Council met with the District and Program Directors this past weekend in Orlando, FL. This year’s June Meetings included the TBP Laureate Selection Committee and the Distinguished Alumnus Selection Committee.
