A profile of an environmental engineer’s work in Wisconsin was recently included by the Journal Sentinel (WI) as part of a series on “careers in a dynamic economy.” John Jaeckel, a principal environmental quality engineer at HNTB Corp., answers questions about the details of his job, trends in his field, and daily challenges related to reducing the impact of noise.

In the article, Jaeckel also discusses his research efforts related to air quality, how to get into the field of environmental engineering, and the projected growth of employment opportunities in his field.
