Engineers Week 2013: Awards & Celebrations

Each year E-Week Houston recognizes outstanding engineers and honors the Area Engineer of the Year and his/her distinguished record of service to the engineering profession. For EWeek 2013, William F. Fendley, P.E. (TX E ’71) has been selected as the Engineer of the Year.

Fendley was recently recognized as “one of the Cullen College’s most successful and committed alumni,” by the University of Houston, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He is co-founder and serves on the board at Cobb Fendley & Associates. He is a licensed engineer in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Britt E. Audet, P.E. (NH A ’02), was recently selected as the 2013 New Hampshire Young Engineer of the Year. She will receive the award at the annual Engineers’ Week banquet this week. Audet currently works for CMA Engineers. Read the article

The New Hampshire Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers nominated Audet based on her record of professional accomplishments, service to the profession and promoting engineering, activity in the community, and dedication to her family.
Audet received her bachelor’s in civil engineering from University of New Hampshire and is a licensed professional engineer in New Hampshire.
