Earlier this month six engineers were inducted into the Missouri Science & Technology Academy of Electrical and Computer Engineers. “The academy is an advisory group to the Missouri S&T electrical and computer engineering department. Founded in 1980, the academy is a departmental advisory group composed of alumni and other electrical and computer engineers who have made outstanding contributions to their profession.”

Three of the six newly inducted members are Tau Bates, including: Jeffrey V. Hackman, (MO B ’80) director of transmission operations for Ameren; Dr. James L. Paunicka, (IN A ’82) technical fellow and senior researcher at Boeing Research & Technology; Dr. Steve E. Watkins, (MO B ’83) professor of engineering and associate chair at Missouri S&T.
