The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) will host its 120th Annual Conference June 23-26 in Atlanta, GA. Tau Beta Pi will be hosting a reception at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in the Omni-Atrium Terrace B from 6-8 pm on Monday, June 24.
The reception is an opportunity for deans, faculty, and others to meet and discuss informally Tau Beta Pi and its role of encouraging excellence and developing total quality leadership in engineering education. Click here for more information

MIT senior, Molly E. McShane (MA B 2013) was recently selected for the Capital One Academic All-America Division III Women’s At-Large team. Molly is is a three-time Capital One Academic All-American. She is a mechanical engineering major, two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association New England Player of the Year, and was eighth in the nation this year in assists per game.
RPI senior, Christopher E. Hall (NY G 2012) was recently selected for the Capital One Academic All-America Division III Men’s At-Large team. Christopher is majoring in electrical engineering, received the RPI Ballesian Prize, and received the RPI Trevett Award for “outstanding scholarship om electrical and systems engineering.” Click here for the news announcement

AfterCollege has a quarterly Engineering Student Scholarship available to students with a minimum 3.0 GPA and currently working towards a degree in engineering. The next deadline to apply for this scholarship is June 30. There is also the Succurro Scholarship available to any enrolled student in an accredited program with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The deadline for this scholarship is also June 30.
