The 2013 Capital One Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams have been announced. This honor “recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America team ballot.” This year there are five All-District Women’s team members that are Tau Beta Pi members:
NCAA Division I: First team (District 2)
Hannah A. Bonotto, PA H 2015, civil engineering (elected, to be initiated in November 2013)
NCAA Division III: First team (District 2)
Bridgette M. Barden, NJ A 2014, chemical engineering
NCAA Division III: First team (District 3)
Amanda L. Murray, NY P 2016, biomedical engineering (elected, to be initiated in November 2013)
NCAA Division I: First team (District 4)
Clarissa L. Hernandez, AL E 2014, chemical engineering
NCAA Division III: First team (District 7)
