The Remington Outdoor Company (ROC) has announced the appointment of Virginia (Ginger) E. Chandler, TX Z ’86, as senior vice president, new product development and innovation. Previously, Chandler led lean at Nike’s European logistics center and ran R&D and new product development for Smith & Wesson. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Lamar University.
“Remington has deep American roots,” said Chandler. “I’m excited to return to an industry and lifestyle I’m so passionate about, and a position where I can contribute my skills and experience to the products I love.” Read the announcement

The Florida Eta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering recently hosted its first general body meeting, a bridge building contest with prizes, and will host an upcoming bake sale.
