The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is looking for applications from honor society students as part of a “cyber career campaign.” Available positions include special agent, computer scientist, information technology forensic examiner, and cyber internship. These positions will include activities “from investigating and preventing sophisticated technical threats worldwide, to thwarting illegal cyber activities that threaten America’s infrastructure, interests and security, no organization will apply your technology skills like the FBI.”

Two important reminders from the Tau Beta Pi Association. First, the deadline to apply for the 82nd annual program of the TBP Fellowships is February 1. All members planning full-time graduate study during the 2015-16 academic year are eligible to received a fellowship in the amount of $10,000. In addition, the Association is requesting nominations for the TBP Distinguished Alumnus program. Each winner receives a recognition plaque and is invited to the Convention and has a $2,000 scholarship named in his or her honor is given to a student.

February 15, 2015, is the deadline to apply for the NASA Academy intensive ten-week residential summer experience. While interning at the Academy you will “conduct important laboratory research, participate in group projects, and attend learning events with NASA leaders and industry experts.” After graduating from the Academy you will join the NASA Academy Alumni Association an integral part of the space community.
