Outstanding Students & Needed Volunteer, January 2015

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has selected 10 outstanding students as the New Faces of Civil Engineering – College Edition. Click here for the list of young engineering leaders with short bios. Four are Tau Bates, including:

Ali N. Boddy – (FL Z 2015) civil engineering major at Florida Institute of Technology
Morgan DiCarlo – (NY Q 2015) mechanical engineering major at Stony Brook University (NY)
Jennifer A. Kearney – (PA B 2015) civil engineering major at Penn State University
Victor E. Murillo – (TX L 2015) civil engineering major at Texas A&M University-Kingsville

Richard C. Leviner, TX H 2016, recently became the first biomedical engineering undergraduate from the University of Texas at Arlington to be initiated into the Texas Eta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi. “I’ve wanted to be a member of Tau Beta Pi since I transferred to UTA and it finally happened! I feel honored to represent the department as the first undergrad to be inducted,” said Leviner. Read the news article
