Freeman, AL B 2011, is currently a high school chemistry teacher with the Bergenfield Board of Education in New Jersey. The Maryland Delta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), will host the closing speaker for UMBC’s E-Week festivities on Thursday, February 26. The speaker will be Steve M. Storck, Ph.D. (MD D ’09), who earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering from UMBC. “His involvement in Baja has led the team to its current success. He turned down multiple top engineering schools to continue at UMBC and obtained his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering last year. He was personally recommended by Freeman A. The Miami University (OH) College of Engineering & Computing will hold its annual Engineering Week Banquet on Wednesday, February 25. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at the CEC Dean’s Office.
