Most of the Professional Engineering (PE) exams are now offered twice a year, in April and October. This year’s exams are scheduled for Friday, April 17, and Friday, October 30. Full exam schedules, including those engineering disciplines only offered once a year, are available on the NCEES web page. Tau Beta Pi has a partnership with PPI which offers members up to a 30 percent discount on exam preparation materials. Visit the TBP/PPI partner page for more information.
With the April exam less than three weeks away, PPI is offering an expedited shipping option on materials ordered by Sunday, April 5th, before midnight (PT).

Boise State University (BSU) recently highlighted the Pi Day (3.14.15) activities of the Idaho Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at BSU. Thirty members of the chapter performed community service work at the Baggley Park, including spreading 30 to 40 yards of mulch and chips. After the hard work, participants ate pie and enjoyed other Pi-related activities. The day concluded with a pie-in-the-face for ID G chapter president Lacie K. Rasley, ID G 2016, and chief advisor and BSU associate dean Janet M. Callahan, Ph.D. (CT B ’83). See more images from the event here

Ben Wang, Ph.D., will speak on “manufacturing innovation” at the 3rd annual Manufacturing Trends Luncheon on Thursday, April 16, at the Dalton Golf and Country Club (GA).
