Student-Athlete Recognitions, May 2015

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced the Women’s Academic All-District Teams for Track & Field/Cross Country, including Division I, II, III, and college (division). All First Team Academic All-District selections advance to the national Capital One Academic All-American ballot.

There are three Tau Beta Pi members that have been named to the Capital One Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-District teams: (See the full list)

Kaitlyn E. Kramer – (NC A 2016) North Carolina State University, chemical engineering

2. Andrea M. Ukleja – (NY G 2016) Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, mechanical engineering

Rebecca A. Esselstein – (CO Z 2015) United States Air Force Academy, astronautical engineering

In April, Ohio Northern University (ONU) presented two Dankook Awards to graduating students to recognize “outstanding records in academics, student leadership, co-curricular activities and service.” Nathan J. Rosenbaum, OH I 2015, was one of the recipients of the award. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, maintained a 4.0 GPA, and balanced a successful athletic career in track and field and cross country. In addition, Rosebaum received the 2013 NCAA Elite 89 Academic Award, served as treasurer of the OH Iota Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, and served as an ONU Student Senate hall councilman.
