Ethan P. Pacheck – NY L 2015, a recent chemical engineering graduate from the University of Rochester and third team All-American; he earned nine varsity letters for cross country/indoor track/outdoor track, received the University’s Peter DiPasquale Award as the top male scholar-athlete of the senior class, and will study nuclear engineering in pursuit of a Ph.D. at the University of Michigan.
Nathan J. Rosenbaum – OH I 2015, a recent graduate from Ohio Northern University with a degree in mechanical engineering and first team All-American; he is a two-time Academic All-American, captured consecutive OAC titles in the 10,000-meter run, he broke the school record in the indoor 5,000-meter run, and served as the treasurer of the Ohio Iota Chapter of Tau Beta Pi last year.

NASA has announced a partnership with eight U.S. universities “on new technology projects for deep space exploration, including the agency’s journey to Mars, as part of the 2016 X-Hab Academic Innovation Challenge.” The teams will design systems that will help improve NASA’s exploration capabilities and provide students with hands-on experience in technology development. Some of the projects include: the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez working on low-powered required manufacturing metals; the University of Maryland working on inflatable airlock structures, the University of Colorado working on the Mars OASIS Space Plant Growth System, and several more. Ashley R. Wheeler – MA B 2015, an environmental engineering graduate from MIT and third team All-American; she was a four-year letter winner in throws (discuss, hammer, & javelin) on the women’s track & field team, she won the hammer throw at the 2014 NEWMAC Championships to earn All-Conference honors, held two internships with Chevron, and she helped the team capture the 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship.
