Speech, Alumni Feedback, & On TV (June 2015)

Fred W. Haise Jr. (OK A ’59), will speak at Clarkson University’s Alumni Reunion Weekend this July. Haise was an Apollo 13 astronaut and is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He is a past president of Northrop Grumman Technical Services. His keynote speech will take place at 11am on Saturday, July 11. The presentation is free and open to the public. The New York City Alumni Chapter of Tau Beta Pi would like your feedback. They are asking Tau Bates in the greater NYC area to complete this form by July 10th, so that the alumni chapter can improve its schedule of events for the fall. In addition the first event of the summer will be a family and friends picnic in Central Park. Please complete this survey, so that a date can be chosen by July 1. BattleBots has returned to prime time television. The second episode of the new season will air on ABC Sunday, June 28. Currently, there are six teams that have a robot in the competition. Angie B. Bamblett, MA B ’00, is a member of team Icewave. Her day job is as a product engineer with Double Robotics. Read more about Bamblett and her team’s combustion engine
