Association Announcements: Scholar Bios, Convention Info, & Chapter PR

The short bios for the 261 Tau Beta Pi Scholars have now been published online. The bios were submitted by the Scholars themselves and edited for length. This is the largest class of TBP Scholars in the 17th year of the program. The Scholars will also be highlighted in the upcoming Fall issue of The Bent magazine.

It is approximately 45 days until the start of the 2015 Tau Beta Pi Convention in Providence, Rhode Island. Visit the Convention web page for the Convention agenda, schedule, and professional development session schedule with descriptions.

May C. Chan, FL I 2016, recently wrote an article for The Avion, the Embry-Riddle (FL) student newspaper, entitled “Engineering Meets Greek Life.” Chan serves as the vice president and public relations officer for the Florida Iota Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The article includes information about the FL Iota Chapter, how students can join TBP, and a few of the benefits of membership.
