Chapter Funding & 2015 Convention Program

The Indiana Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Purdue University, recently applied for sponsorship of a new event from the Purdue Student Government Senate. The Research Roundtable is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10 in the Purdue Memorial Union. The event will be co-hosted by the local chapter of the Society of Professional Engineering and will provide professors the opportunity to present their areas of research to undergraduates. Information includes the agenda, area maps, business summary, professional development sessions, and more. See you in Providence on October 29!

At the September meeting of the Associated Students of the University of New Mexico, the student senate appropriated more than $1,000 to the New Mexico Beta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi to help fund travel of two delegates to the 2015 Tau Beta Pi Convention. NM Beta Chapter president Ayham Maadi, NM B 2016, and vice president Michael Salazar, NM B 2016, are scheduled to attend the conference later this month in Providence, Rhode Island.
