Two seniors from Princeton University have been awarded the Daniel M. Sachs Class of 1960 Graduating Scholarship, which provides them an opportunity to travel abroad after graduation. Sarah H. Cen, NJ D 2016, a mechanical and aerospace engineering major will pursue a master’s degree in engineering science at Worcester College, the University of Oxford (UK).

Western New England (WNE) University has announced the hiring of Stephen J. Adamshick, Ph.D. (MA I ’10), as an assistant professor of electrical engineering in the College of Engineering. Dr. Adamshick recently earned his master’s and Ph.D. in nanoscale engineering from the University of Albany, “has an extensive research background in nanotechnology,” and is an alumnus of WNE.
