Jerome A. “Jerry” Gilbert, Ph.D. (MS A ’77), began his tenure as the 37th president of Marshall University his month. This week he was featured in The Parthenon, Marshall University’s student newspaper. Previously, Dr. Gilbert was the Provost and Executive Vice President as Mississippi State University (MSU), his alma mater. He worked at MSU in several capacities beginning in 1988.

The Nevada Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), is hosting two TBP Engineering Futures sessions on campus Saturday, February 6, 2016. The sessions are free of charge and open to all students of all majors at UNR. Lunch will be provided!
More information is available here. The first session, Analytical Problem Solving, will begin at 10am and the second session, Effective Presentation Skills, will start at 12:30pm. Both sessions will be presented by TBP Engineering Future’s Facilitator Scott V. Eckersall, CA I ’96.
