Convention News 2016

The 111th Convention of Tau Beta Pi took place October 6-8 in San Diego, California. The Association’s press release will be published soon and the Convention minutes should be available in early November.

The R.C. Matthews Outstanding Chapter award for 2015-16 went to DC Alpha at Howard University (image below/left).
The R.H. Nagel Most Improved Chapter award for 2015-16 went to WI Alpha at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (below/right).

Peter W. Likins, Ph.D., CA Gamma ’57, spoke at the first business meeting. Dr. Likins is past president of Lehigh University and the University of Arizona (image below/left).
Murray E. Rudin, NY Kappa ’83, gave the farewell address at the Saturday banquet. He is managing director of Riordan, Lewis & Haden (image below/right).
