Youngstown State University (YSU) recently profiled the local chapter of Tau Beta Pi. Known as the OH Lambda Chapter, they held their fall initiation on November 9. A total of 21 new members were initiated and became lifetime Tau Bates. Read the article for highlights of chapter activities and benefits of membership.
Chapter president Libby A. Rogenski, OH L 2017, was interviewed and discussed her chapter hosting the YSU Engineers Week and attending the Tau Beta Pi annual Convention. “It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot about the organization on a national scale,” said Libby. “We also got to know some of the other Ohio chapter leaders pretty well.”

Stefan D. Cleveland – NH B 2016, is pursuing his MBA at Louisville University after graduating with a degree in engineering from Dartmouth and second team All-American. He is a goalkeeper for the soccer team. Cleveland was a two-time First Team All-Ivy League selection and Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.

Caitlin J. Liddiard – WI D 2016, a biomolecular engineering graduate from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and second team All-American. She is an attacker on the soccer team. Liddiard finishes her career third in total goals (33) in school history, was All-NACC Second team in 2014, and was All-NACC first team in 2016.

Henry L. Dorkin, Ph.D. (PA A ’73), has been named president-elect of the Massachusetts Medical Society. His one year-term will be followed by a term as the top officer of the Society. Dr. Dorkin is associate chief at Boston Children’s Hospital and associate professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. According to the article from Lehigh University, the statewide association of physicians hosts over 25,000 members and is the oldest continuously operating medical society in the United States.
Dr. Dorkin earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Lehigh and his Doctor of Medicine from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has previously served as president of the Suffolk District Medical Society.
