TBP: Scholarships, Executive Council, & Events

For the 19th year, Tau Beta Pi will award and recognize members in support of their senior year of undergraduate study. Applications for this year’s TBP Scholarship Program will be available beginning on January 15, 2017. The deadline to complete the application and have your recommendations sent in is April 1, 2017.

The Association plans to award more than 175 scholarships this year on the basis of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and the promise of substantial contributions to the engineering profession. Recipients will be announced in July. Click here for the info sheet with more details.


The Executive Council of Tau Beta Pi officially expanded to eight members on January 1, 2017. There are also some changes in leadership positions. The list below includes the three new Councillors elected at the 2016 Convention (Paugh, G. Youssef, & M. Youssef). You can read more about the Executive Council and each of its members here.

Be on the lookout for Tau Beta Pi gatherings taking place in 2017. You can find the calendar with a list of alumni events here. Collegiate members and alumni of the Association, please start making plans to attend the 2017 District Conferences. There will be 16 Conferences this spring around the country.
