UCSC Event, Marconi Young Scholar Award, & Teenage Tau Bate

The California Alpha Delta Chapter at the University of California, Santa Cruz, is hosting an event on Friday, May 26, at the Jack Baskin School of Engineering. The “Tau Beta Pi Revival” will include technical talks, food, and music. The event is free and is aimed at bringing the local engineering community together.

WJLA news in Washington, D.C., recently profiled chemical engineering student Nkechinyere Chidi-Ogbolu. She graduated this May with her bachelor’s degree from Howard University. She is only 18 years old.

Originally from Nigeria, Chidi-Ogbolu will pursue a Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis. She joined the DC Alpha Chapter at Howard in March. Read the article for more biographical information.
