On Saturday, September 9, the Broward (FL) Alumni Chapter of Tau Beta Pi will host Roger N. Nagel, Ph.D. (PA A ’64), for a TED-like Talk at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Dr. Nagel is an Emeritus Professor and former executive director and CEO of the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University (PA).
His talk is entitled, “The Sharing Economy: How it has Changed the Way We Work, Live & Play.” The event is free and refreshments will be served. Please RSVP for the event here. After the talk, the Florida Epsilon Chapter (at FAU) is hosting a resume workshop.

Laura M. Ricart-Ugaz, Ph.D., (WI A ’93), was recently profiled by the Huffington Post and participated in a Q&A as a woman in business leader. Dr. Ricart-Ugaz is chief engineer of development with Navistar. She earned a a B.S. in applied math, engineering and physics and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
