The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced the 2017-18 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Football teams, including Division I, II, III, and college division. All First Team Academic All-District selections advance to the national Capital One Academic All-American ballot.

On November 7, the Connecticut Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Yale University, hosted its Fall 2017 initiation. A total of 19 new members were inducted into Tau Beta Pi.
