Top Women CEOs, Alumni Events, & VCU Initiation (November 2017)

Earlier this year, a list of women CEOs leading Fortune 500 companies was published by Fortune. There are at least 4 Tau Beta Pi members in the top 20 of this list, including:

#1. Mary T. Barra (MI Z ’85) – CEO of General Motors
#2. Virginia M. Rometty (IL G ’79) – President & CEO of IBM Corporation
#12. Geisha J. Williams (FL B ’83) – President & CEO of PG&E Corporation
#18. Vicki Hollub (AL B ’81) – President & CEO of Occidental Oil & Gas Corporation

The Virginia Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Virginia Commonwealth University, hosted its fall initiation earlier this month. A total of 15 new members were installed. The VA Epsilon Chapter posted images of the new members, officers, advisors, and TBP Association Official, together around the chapter’s Bent monument on campus to their Facebook page.
