Bosnian Engineer Profile, ISA Fellow, & PhD Project Partner (July 2018)

Lana Stekovic, TN G ’12, was recently profiled by the Sarajevo Times for her work as a young engineer in Illinois. Currently, she is a graduate research fellow and Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Stekovic is also a graduate student researcher with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Previously, she worked as a researcher for ORNL after earning her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Tennessee Technological University. She has also completed her master’s degree. Read the article for more biographical details on Stekovic.

The International Society of Automation (ISA) has announced those members elevated to the distinguished membership grade of Fellow and the Celebrating Excellence Award honorees for 2018, including Member’s Choice honorees chosen by their peers. Award presentations will be made at the ISA Honors & Awards Gala on October 14, 2018, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Herman E. Storey (LA G ’67) – is one of the newly elevated ISA Fellows. He is CTO at Herman Storey Consulting, LLC, serves as Standards Committee co-chair for ISA108 Intelligent Device Management, and graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
