Pamela Holland Obiomon, Ph.D. (TX K ’90), has been named the College of Engineering dean at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), effective September 1. Dr. Obiomon has been a faculty member in the department of electrical and microelectronic engineering since 2003.
According to the announcement, she previously taught at Rochester Institute of Technology and worked in shuttle avionics at the Johnson Space Center. Dr. Obiomon joined Tau Beta Pi in 2009 as an eminent engineer and earned her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.

The Goering Center for family and private business at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Linder College of Business has named Nathan C. Bare, OH M ’17, a Rising Leader. Bare is an industrial engineer with Cincinnati-based Casco Manufacturing Solutions.
He graduated from Wright State University with a degree in industrial engineering. Bare earned the honor for his redesign of Casco’s production floor. Click here for more details.
