Below are two group images from the 2018 Tau Beta Pi Convention. On top, the representatives from District 13 show-off their impressive haul of awards, including New Mexico Beta winners of the R.H. Nagel Most Improved Chapter Award. In addition, eight D13 chapters earned Chapter Excellence Awards (AZ Alpha, AZ Beta, AZ Gamma, AZ Delta, NM Alpha, NM Beta, NM Gamma, & TX Theta). D13 is led by Directors Allen D. Erickson, NM G ’14, and Chris Stemple, AZ A ’10, (pictured).
The bottom image is the group picture of the TBP alumni delegates at this year’s Convention. A total of 31 Alumni Chapters had representatives present and many other alumni attended as well. Also, included in the image is Director of Alumni Affairs Tricia E. Gomulinski, SD A ’98.

Dilip M. Khatri, Ph.D., S.E. (CA I ’83), and the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology at Cal State LA is hosting a premiere of the documentary “Aspire To The Sky: The Wilshire Grand Story.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, at the Cal State LA, USU Theater.

The U.S. Department of Energy has released a request for proposals for the 2020 Collegiate Wind Competition to be held at AWEA WINDPOWER in Denver, CO, in June 2020. Competing teams are selected through a competitive solicitation, and applications are now being accepted.
