The Daily Texan, of the University of Texas at Austin, reported on student organizations partnering with the Sustainability Sort Squad to sort trash on Sundays after football games. The volunteer opportunity also serves as a fundraiser because organizations can earn money based on the number of volunteers they bring to sort trash.

The TX Alpha Chapter vice president Desi C. Friesenhahn, TX A 2018, was quoted in the article. The TX Alpha Chapter has already sorted trash once this semester and plans to participate in this weekend’s cleanup as well. Click here to read the article for more details.
