Tepper L. Gill, Ph.D. (DC A ’66), recently received the 2018 R.M. Santilli Foundation Scientific Award for Unprecedented Advances on Isotopies. According to the announcement, the awards were presented at the International Conference on Pure and Applied Mathematics (ICPAM 2018).
Dr. Gill is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at Howard University. He earned his degrees from Wayne State University (MI).
Three Tau Bates were recently selected for the 2018 CoSIDA Google Cloud Division I Academic All-America® Women’s Soccer teams, respectively.
Stasia M. Mallin, TN E 2020, a biomedical engineering major at the University of Memphis, and second team Div. I All-American; she is a defender on the varsity soccer team. Mallin has been recognized by the AAC as an All-Academic Team member each season of her career, maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA, and had a career high eight assists this season.
Kelli L. Swenson – WI G 2019, a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee civil engineering major and first team Div. I All-American; she is a defender on the varsity soccer team. Swenson is a two-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, 2018 GEICO Fall Female Scholar-Athlete of the Season, and owner of a 4.0 GPA.
Paige Welch – OK A 2019, biomedical engineering senior at the University of Oklahoma and second team Div. I All-American; she is a midfielder on the varsity soccer team. Welch was the 2017 Big 12 Fall Scholar Athlete of the Year, three-time All-Big 12 First Team honors, and maintains a 4.0 GPA.
