Initiation at Brown, NAVSEA Award, & Academic All-District Football (Dec. 2018)

David L. Rhodes, NC E ’04, is one of four engineers from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division in Newport to be named winners in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Achievement Awards program by Career Communication Group’s U.S. Black Engineer and Information Technology magazine and the Council of Engineering Deans of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Rhodes is a software engineer and is being recognized for many significant contributions throughout his 16-year career at NUWC Newport. Read the announcement for more information on Rhodes and the other winners.

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Football teams, including Division I, II, III, and NAIA. All First Team Academic All-District selections advance to the national Capital One Academic All-American ballot.
