The Ohio Lambda Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Youngstown State University (YSU), was profiled on the YSU website for welcoming 21 new members at the end of last semester. In the article, Thomas Carnes, OH L 2019, chapter president says: “Last school year, we had our largest initiation class in several years at YSU. I hope to continue this trend.”

On Wednesday, January 30, Marla Smith-Nilson, AZ A ’91, will kick-off the spring 2019 talks at the University of Arizona (UA) as part of the “Lesson in Engineering Leadership” series.
She is the founder and executive director of Water1st International, a Seattle-based nonprofit has provided safe water and toilets to 208,000 people in 2,700 communities around the world.
