TBP February Bulletin, Material Science Student Profile, & Retiring Pacific President

The February issue of The Bulletin is now available. The issue is full of opportunities for collegiate chapters and for alumni to participate in collegiate activities. Highlights include: the 6th annual Tau Beta Pi Day, District Conference schedule, and chapter anniversaries.

Jordan Vandegrift, ID G 2017, was profiled by the Boise State University where she is a master’s student in the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering. As an undergrad she was active in the ID Gamma Chapter serving as treasurer.

This past summer she held a prestigious internship at Micron Technology working with the technology development group helping to develop atomic layer deposition precursors processes and chemical syntheses to aid in the production of state of the art memory concepts.

The University of the Pacific (CA), has announced that current president Pamela A. Eibeck, Ph.D., P.E. (AZ G ’79), plans to retire effective July 1, 2019.

Dr. Eibeck has served as Pacific’s president since 2009. Her area of expertise is heat transfer and all of her degrees were earned from Stanford University. She is also a former vice chair of the NCAA’s D1 Committee on Academics. Click here to read the announcement.
