TBP Chapter Projects, UArk Engine Week, & UCF Pegasus Award (Feb. 2019)

We encourage you to browse these reports to see the great work our collegiate chapters are doing and for ideas on projects that your chapter could participate in as well.

Since 1909, the tradition of Engine Week has taken place at the University of Arkansas to “celebrate the field of engineering in society.” This year the campus is invited to celebrate with food, games, and professional development opportunities from February 25 to March 1.

The Arkansas Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi will host a Game night on Monday, February 25. There will be video games, board games, and free food! Click here for more information on the scheduled activities and Engine Week.

The University of Central Florida (UCF) has named 22 students as recipients of the Order of Pegasus, the university’s most prestigious student award. Two of the undergraduates recognized are Tau Bates. The winners will be honored at a ceremony this spring on April 10. See the full list.
