UNLV Images, UDEL Professor, & Engineering Festival @ Michigan Tech (March 2019)

On March 15, the Nevada Beta Chapter, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, held a Bent polishing event and posted images to their Twitter account. See one of the images below:

Bert Diemer Jr., Ph.D. (PA A ’73), is a professor of practice at the University of Delaware (UD). He worked for DuPont Company for 40+ years and retired as an Engineering Fellow.

The Delaware Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi (at UD), profiled and published images of Dr. Diemer on Tau Beta Pi Day as he wore his TBP lapel pin. We appreciate Dr. Diemer and DE Alpha for promoting the Association and celebrating Pi Day.

Michigan Tech is hosting a Science & Engineering Festival for all K-8 students in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan on Tuesday, March 19.

According to the announcement, “more than 60 Michigan Tech students from 15 student organizations will engage participants in fun, hands-on engineering, physics, and chemistry activities, including remotely operated vehicles, fish tank fiber optics, and a K’NEX Wind-powered Water Lift.” The Michigan Beta Chapter, at Tech, will be hosting an activity station.
