Palm Beach Alumni w/UM, Young Engineer of the Year, & New Gonzaga Dean (March 2019)

David W. Morse, P.E. (KY G ’08), has been selected as the Young Engineer of the Year by the Nashville chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers. Morse is a lead engineer at WSP Engineering firm.

He graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Western Kentucky University. Read the news article for more information.

Gonzaga University has announced Karlene A. Hoo, Ph.D., as the new dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science beginning on June 17. Dr. Hoo is currently a professor of chemical engineering at Montana State University.

According to the announcement, her research focuses on the areas of dynamical system theory and artificial intelligence.
