Drexel Members, Scholar-Athlete Profile, & HNTB VP (June 2019)

Earlier this month, the Pennsylvania Zeta Chapter at Drexel University held its spring initiation. The Twitter account of the Drexel College of Engineering posted an image of the 10 new members of Tau Beta Pi (9 undergraduates and 1 alumni). Congratulations!

Paige M. Danielson, WA B 2019, has been named to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Women’s At-Large Academic All-America First Team as a varsity rower. She is a recent graduate of Washington State University with a degree in electrical engineering and a 4.0 GPA.

According to the announcement, Danielson is a three-time first team Pac-12 All-Academic, named the Pac-12 Women’s Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and a two-time NCAA Elite 90 Award winner. She plans to pursue her Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder next fall.

HNTB Corporation has added Robert F. Conway, P.E. (NY X ’79), as Northeast Division environmental/planning practice leader and vice president. Conway has 37 years of experience and previously served as the environmental officer for Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Capital Construction.

He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Manhattan College. Click here to read the news release for more details on Conway’s previous projects and his new role at HNTB.
