This is Liana G. Wood, AL A ’22, a senior at The University of Auburn majoring in industrial & systems engineering. She is a Cupola Engineering Ambassador who has accepted a job offer from Lockheed Martin aerospace company. A recent Tweet from the Auburn University Ginn College of Engineering stated, “She has propelled the path of Auburn women in engineering.” In addition to Tau Beta Pi, she is also a member of the Auburn chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
In 2020, she participated in the Tiger Cage competition hosted by the Auburn Harbert Entrepreneurship program. Liana was a member of the “BluePrint Pal” team who developed a weatherproof box that can protect blueprints and attach to construction vehicles. The “BluePrint Pal” team made it into the final four and walked away with a $5,000 prize.
We are proud to have Liana as a member and soon to be alumnus of Tau Beta Pi. The Association wishes her good luck in all her engineering endeavors and with her new position at Lockheed Martin.
