Lecture – Trains that Passed in the Night: The Photographs of O. Winston Link

Thomas H. Garver will give a lecture at the National Academy of Sciences May 20, 2009 at 7 p.m.

The lecture – Trains that Passed in the Night:
The Photographs of O. Winston Link – will detail the style and works of O. Winston Link, NY Z ’37.

Garver assisted Link on several photograph trips, contributed to Link’s first book (Steam, Steel & Stars), and was the sole author of a second book of Link’s photos (The Last Steam Railroad in America). He was also the organizing curator of the O. Winston Link Museum.
