Engineering Recognition

This past weekend, the University of San Diego was installed as the 245th Chapter of Tau Beta Pi. To be know as the California Alpha Epsilon Chapter, more than 50 alumni, seniors, and juniors were initiated as part of the installation process.

According to an article from USD, this is a significant step for the engineering program which was founded by the late Thomas Kanneman, WI A ’58, in 1991. USD’s Director of Engineering Programs and professor, Dr. Kathleen Kramer (CA O ’86), said, “this recognition from Tau Beta Pi is a very important milestone in the development of our distinguished engineering programs.”
