Randall A. Harris, P.E. (NC E ’86), has joined Gannett Fleming, Inc., as the Virginia Area transportation manager. According to the announcement, Harris has 30 years of experience as is responsible for “managing large-scale client projects across the Commonwealth of Virginia, with a focus on roadway, bridge and toll plaza planning and design.”
He graduated from North Carolina AT&T State University with a degree in architectural engineering.

Earlier this month, the American Nuclear Society announced seven new fellows for their accomplishments in nuclear science and technology. Click here to read the news release, and short bios on the new Fellows, two of which are Tau Bates, including:
Ronald M. Gilgenbach, Ph.D. – (WI A ’72) a professor of nuclear engineering and radiological sciences at the University of Michigan for his pioneering research on the science and technology of fusion devices and accelerators.
Stephen P. Schultz, Ph.D. – (NY G ’70) recognized for his technical leadership in the utility industry and regulatory agencies
