Happy National Engineers Week 2018! Michigan Technological University is celebrating all week with events being sponsored by the MI Beta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi. EWeek was founded by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951 and is “dedicated to ensuring a diverse well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers.”
The first event of the week was “How to Make a DIY Composter” and today’s event is a free piece of cake with the Department of Engineering Fundamentals. Friday, Feb. 23, is build your own circuit board with Blue Marble Security. Read the announcement for details on all of the events at Michigan Tech this week.

The Tennessee Beta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Vanderbilt University has a new website. There are some great images and useful information on the site. Anthony M. Olenik, NY T ’08, serves as a TBP District 2 Director, since 2009, and in this role he attends many initiations each semester at collegiate chapters in the New Jersey and New York area.
