Student Spotlights: Athletics, Boards, & Internships (September 2015)

Stevens Institute of Technology has announced that recent grad David J. Evans, NJ A 2015, has been named the Sigma Nu Fraternity Athlete of the Year. Evans graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. His accomplishments as a student-athlete are many, including team captain of the men’s volleyball team that won the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship, 2015 Player of the Year in the conference, a Cosida Academic All-American, TBP NJ Alpha vice president, and held several officer positions with the local Sigma Nu chapter.

Aditya V. Karhade, TN B 2015, has been elected as Vanderbilt University’s first Young Alumni Leader by the Board of Trust. He will serve a three-year term on the Alumni Association Board. He graduated this May with a degree in biomedical engineering and is currently pursuing a doctorate of medicine at Harvard Medical School (MA). Maria Van Keulen, NY A 2016, was a return intern working with the CAP team on performance tooling and she was interviewed in a Q&A format.
