On the eve of the third annual Tau Beta Pi Day, the Association is announcing the inaugural Pi Day Chapter Fundraising Competition. Starting today and running until Monday, March 21, Tau Beta Pi members from graduating classes 2012 thru 2015 can participate by making a donation to the Association. The collegiate chapter with the highest percentage of alumni participation will receive a “Pi Grant” in support of their chapter’s 2017 Pi Day activities.
In addition, giving levels of 10 Pi ($31.42) and greater receive the new Tau Beta Pi membership card. Gift levels of 20 Pi ($62.83) and greater receive the membership card, a 2016 Pi Day t-shirt, and are entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. Pizza Hut reached out to Tau Beta Pi this week to see if any of its members were looking to win free pizza for 3.14 years on Pi Day (March 14, 2016). The Pizza Hut Pi Day Math Contest will take place beginning at 8am (EST) on Marcy 14 on the Hut Life Blog. The contest is partnering with mathematician John H. Conway who will write three math problems of varying difficulty from high school to Ph.D. level.
