The Landmark Conference has named Clair N. Schmitzer, DC B 2017, as the 2017 Women’s Lacrosse Senior Scholar Athlete. She is a civil engineering major at The Catholic University of America and a midfielder on the women’s lacrosse team.
According to the announcement, she earned First Team All-Landmark accolades in 2014 and 2016, won four conference championships, and finished her career with 77 goals. She is involved in community service projects and has interned for Kiewit Construction and Balfour Beatty Construction.

Kasey M. Cooper – AL A 2018, mechanical engineering major at Auburn University and first team All-American; she is an outfielder on the softball team. She is holds the Southeastern Conference record for career RBIs (269), a recipient of the 2016 NCAA Elite 90 Award, and two-time SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Jaclyn V. Solimine, MA Q 2017, is one of four women’s cross country/ track & field members from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell to be named to the America East Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team. She is graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Solimine won the 2017 UMass Lowell Scholar-Athlete award, won the 10,000 and the 5,000-meters at the America East Outdoor Championships, and was named the Most Outstanding Female Track Performer. Read the news article for more details.
