The Daily Texan profiled a logistical solutions database created by Tau Bate and previous TX Alpha Chapter president Ethan Freeburg, TX A 2019. Started in 2018, the Longhorn Data Exchange assists campus organizational leaders with information such as volunteer opportunities, catering vendors, banquet venues, and more.

Click here to read about the database that consists mainly of engineering organizations to date. “Our first big break was in engineering when we had about 30 organizations join and contribute data,” Freeburg said. “We want to expand since many orgs do a lot of the same functions, like everyone has to plan events, order food, and recruit.”
